The Monier-Williams reverse search shows 118 Sanskrit words related to “doubt.” In Devi’s questions at the beginning of the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, where she is discussing her doubts, she uses the word samshaya, (saṃśaya), which has the double meaning of “lying down to rest or sleep” as well as “uncertainty, irresolution, hesitation, doubt in or of, doubt about the point to be discussed.”
